The Indians new center fielder Bradley Zimmer has made his mark on the Indians already in his second MLB game of his career as he crushes a home run off of the Tampa Bay’s Alex Colome.
It was a eventful day for the young center fielder known as Bradley Zimmer as he crushes a home run in the ninth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday, May 17. Bradley Zimmer also collected his first Major League hit as he drives a line drive RBI hit into the left field gap allowing him to take second. Bradley stated to the press after the game that he took some advice from the other young star Francisco Lindor. Zimmer told Zack Meisel from Cleveland.com that he got some advice from a fellow teammate Francisco Lindor that if Zimmer was to hit a hard line drive not to sprint out of the box as Lindor tripped rounding first when he collected his first Major League base hit.
Sam Nicodemus stated “I think it is pretty impressive to collect your first major league homerun in your second MLB game of your career, I hope he keeps it up and keeps knocking in the runs for the Indians along the season.”
Even though the Indians took the hard loss on Wednesday night as they get robbed of a game winning home run of the Indians’ second baseman Jason Kipnis but this could be the start of a huge career of the young center fielder.
“I hope that this is just the start of Bradley Zimmer as a Indian for Cleveland because i think he can do as he is one of the new young talents on the team.” Gary Noe quoted.
I personally think this could be the start of something great for our Cleveland Indians as they have had a pretty bumpy start compared to the other team of last years world series competitors the Chicago Cubs.
