Cavs dominate game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals

BY MATT MOORE

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics had their game one of the Eastern Conference Finals last night. As most expected, the Cavs dominated once again with an amazing win of 117-104 with a (1-0) lead.

“I believe that the Cavs will not sweep the Celtics in this last series. The Celtics have too much skill to not win one game against them. Especially with Isiah Thomas and how aggressive he is against any player he is put up against. The cavs win this series but the Celtics will not go down without a fight.” said Colin Landals (11).

Lebron James had played 42 minutes and accumulated 38 points last night. Going 14-24 at the field goal range, 1-6 at the three-point range, and went 9-11 at the free throw range. Lebron had another amazing performance last night. Kevin Love also had a brilliant performance last night. Playing 34 minutes and had an overall 32 points he went off. He went 9-16 at the field goal range, 6-9 at the three-point range, and an almost perfect 8-9 at the free throw range.

Mitchell Blackburn (11) said, ”The Cavs are absolutely going to dominate the Celtics and most likely sweep them (4-0). Lebron James becomes a different player when he is in the playoffs and let alone the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics are good but just not as good as the Cavs. It will be an interesting series and I can not wait to see how all of this plays out.”

The Cavs had played the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals last in 2015 and beat them then. This series will be a very interesting one and will nerve-racking the whole time. The second game of the Eastern Conference Finals is tomorrow, 5/18/2017, at 8:30 pm EST.
